Downloaded newest version of Adobe Flash Player today, only to find all videos now display error message PLUG-IN FAILURE. /golf-launchpad-tour-windows-7-driver.html. I'm running MAC OSX.

7. As the super user, copy the extracted file, libflashplayer.so, to your Firefox installation directory's plugins sub-directory. For example, if Firefox is installed in /usr/lib/mozilla, use the command sudo cp libflashplayer.so /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins and then enter your super user password when prompted.

Many Flash problems can be resolved by disabling hardware acceleration in your Flash Player settings (Adobe's Flash Player Help - Display Settings page has details). To disable hardware acceleration in Flash:

1. Go to this Adobe Flash Player Help page.
2. Right-clickHold down the control key while you click on the Flash Player logo on that page, then click on Settings in the context menu. The Adobe Flash Player Settings screen will open.
3. Click on the icon at the bottom-left of the Adobe Flash Player Settings window to open the Display panel.
4. Remove the check mark from Enable hardware acceleration.
   
5. Click to close the Adobe Flash Player Settings Window.
6. Restart Firefox.

2. Find Shockwave Flash in the list of plugins and click the button.
3. Remove the check mark from Enable Adobe Flash protected mode.

4. Click the menu button and then click Exit to completely close Firefox, so that the change can take effect.
5. Restart Firefox.

Prior to my upgrade to Sierra I was getting this same message on El Capitan: 'Plug-in Failure'. I thought that upgrading to Sierra may solve this problem, well, it hasn't. /line-for-mac-os-sierra.html.

I play a game of Facebook and I prefer to use Safari. I have been using Chrome and do not get the message. However, with that said I WANT MY SAFARI back. I have removed the flash and reinstalled it and still get the same problem. I have followed the directions to make sure the preferences were set correctly and they are. Nothing seems to rid this issue. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
