I took out my GM Tech 2 Clone, opened my Windows XP Netbook that I had previously installed the TIS 2000 software (this software disk came with the Tech 2 Clone). I opened the TIS 2000 application and went to the “Service Program Application” and followed the steps to “Reprogram ECU”. Now this used PCM obviously had a different VIN.

1. GM Tech2 scan tool + TIS 2000 software CD and USB key. Also, a laptop or pc running windows xp home. GM Tech2 with TIS2000 work on GM vehicle before 2007 year, please be informed so that the process smoothly. Guide: –Insert the TIS 2000 CD into the computer, Tis2000 helps to get the latest calibration for the PCM.
2. The laptop connection is USB type, which results in faster PCM reading and programming times. 2/39 Technically, any computer that meets the minimum requirements can be used, as long as you can get.
3. Electronic Control Module (ECM) Programming with GM SPS 1.Turn the vehicle ignition to the ON position (do not start the engine). 2.From the Windows desktop, double-click the TIS 2000 icon. This displays the TIS 2000 – Application Selection window.
